Marketing is Evertthig

I'm a marketing student study in UniofAdelaide, before i engage in marketing study, marketing always connect to the PPT, SWOT, Michael Eugene Porter, etc. There is not a clear market definition and structure in my mind. what is marketing? i dont think who can give a everlasting answer. Because the market is dynamic.  from wiki pedia, Marketing is defined as “an organizational function and a set of processes for creating, communicating, and delivering value to customers and for managing customer relationships in ways that benefit the organization and its stakeholder(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marketing)
So, we can see at least 3 steps in this process, creating value, communicating value and delivering value, futhermore, managing the relationship among customers, company and shareholders. Every social man be involved in markting, so, marketing is everything. 


The first time i heard about "Marketing is Evertthig" is from a article in "Harvard Business Review", written by Regis McKenna. MecKenna say that Technology is creating customer choice, and choice is altering the marketplace. Current marketing is different, gone are the days of the marketer as salesperson, gone as well is marketing that tries to trick the customer into buying whatever the company makes. 

McKenna also give the new  core values of marketing. Six principles are at the heart of the new marketing. like The first one , "Marketing is everything and everything is marketing," suggests that marketing is like quality. It is not a function but an all-pervasive way of doing business.

The second, "The goal of marketing is to own the market, not just to sell the product," is a remedy for companies that adopt a limiting "market-share mentality." When you own a market, you lead the market.

This is just a beginning, i will share more what i see, what i think, and what i target.

The Orphans of Liangshan 2

In privious blog, i have mentioned the the orphans of Liangshan, now, i will give more their real situaion.

Rizha: 13-year-old, her father addicted to drugs and died three years ago, latter, her mother remarried to another village, according to custom of village, her mother can not take her children when she remarried. So, Rizha and her 2 younger brother become the orphants.

Her oldest brother is now a second grade boarding school pupil and goes back home during long vacations. The youngest brother is age six but looks like a three year old. He usually follows Rizha to the field, or walks silently from one end of the village to the other, his head bowed and his eyes avoiding contact with strangers.

Rizha feels that without parental love and care since the age of one hasn’t affected him, because "He is still too young to know about what heart-break is".

Rizha gave up further study after graduation from primary school and stayed home to take care of her brothers, cook food, clean the house, grow crops, feed pigs, and chop firewood – like the “mother” of the family. But, she is only 13 yeard old.

WE HAVE LOVE

The first Blog issned, i will try to use my view, my think, my opinion to get some consensus, use my writting to share the world as i see it.  In the first blog, i will share some children's lives in Liangshan, a small village in China, Sichuan province. These children are called The Orphans of Liangshan, they are from 2 years old to 16years old, living without parents, they can not go to school, they need to feed themselves, they are ingorewd from our society.

This is just a beginning, from now on, i will keep reporting the new from this area, importantly, think about how to help this group of children.

pay attention on people living in BOP

i always ask myself: what is the value for the life of man. some one pick reputation, some one choose money, some people select "Coco Chanel", yes, it doesn't means it is wrong, however, help more people in need in our limitted lives will let our heart back to peace and full with love.

In these blog, i will writte something on people who living in bottom of pyramid of our society, give more attention and care on this group of people, another thing is i really want to find some recommanditions from business, including marketing, management, acounting or financing way to improve their current situation. That is it, as a maketing studnet, even i know my  contribution is limitted, it doesn't matter, just share some of my views, and evocative some resonances.
